Clubs & Activities
Although academic achievement and scholarship are the highest goals of a Nazareth School experience, we encourage students to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities where they will have the opportunity to hone their interpersonal skills, forge new friendships, and strengthen character.
A Balanced Approach
The development of the total person results from a balanced approach to growth and self-expression. Through participation in wholesome recreation, students enjoy activities with peers who share their interests and often find a stress-relieving outlet where they can enjoy just “being.”
Students have the opportunity to participate in liturgical ministries, choir, drama productions, talent shows, cheerleading, sports, and a myriad of sponsored clubs and organizations.
Leadership
At Nazareth School, we believe students learn the commitment to social justice and community service at home and at school. The student government organization promotes good citizenship and service to others by encouraging involvement in school activities and demonstrating the practical application of democracy.
Students begin to take on positions with increasingly more responsibility as they participate in our system of peer leadership. Older students guide and mentor younger students in a number of activities. No matter what their specific choices or duties, all students learn and practice important leadership skills that will serve them well throughout their lives.
